Basin Works – Bourse de Commerce Exhibition, Paris

From hydraulic design to the final staging of the water, Belle Environnement supported this project across every technical dimension. The work combined the design and installation of a bespoke hydraulic system, the waterproofing of the basin, and the integration of water filtration and treatment equipment.

Carried out within a particularly tight schedule during the venue’s closure to the public, the project required precise coordination at every stage. Filling the basin and fine-tuning the system were then undertaken in collaboration with the artist, in order to align the hydraulic performance with the artistic intent of the work and achieve the desired result.

Designed to extend beyond this single exhibition, the installation was created to be fully dismantlable, allowing the venue to evolve and accommodate new creations in the future. An approach in which engineering, adaptability and artistic precision come together in support of a project that is both highly technical and designed to evolve.
