Restoration of the Stravinsky Fountain – Paris
Stravinsky Fountain – Paris
Belle Environnement contributed to the restoration of the Stravinsky Fountain, an iconic artwork located in the heart of Paris, near the Centre Pompidou.
Our teams were responsible for the entire hydraulic and electrical core of the fountain, from detailed execution studies through to the completion of the works and final commissioning.
The project began with the removal of the existing hydraulic and electrical equipment, both in the technical plant room and within the fountain basin, together with the adaptation of the necessary routes for the new networks.
The renovation then focused on the complete modernisation of the fountain systems, including the creation and adaptation of hydraulic networks, water filtration and circulation equipment, stainless-steel components, as well as water-level and overflow management systems.
Belle Environnement also carried out the electrical installations and automation of the fountain, enabling the different operating modes to be controlled and ensuring the technical management of the equipment.
The project also included the refurbishment of the basin, its waterproofing and the surrounding stainless-steel elements, carried out by specialised partner companies under the supervision and coordination of Belle Environnement.
This project illustrates our expertise in the restoration of complex heritage and artistic fountains, combining technical excellence, precision of execution and seamless integration within an outstanding urban environment.
